Steve McCaffery is the author of over 25 volumes of poetry and criticism, most recently The Basho Variations (Toronto: Book Thug).  He lives in Buffalo, New York, and teaches in the Poetics Program at the University of Buffalo where he is David Gray Professor of Poetry and Letters.
