Reviews:

"TV EYE is a rich engagement with the preconditions of words and the advances of thoughts and bodies. Baron provides readers with insights into the ways of transmission--how "the eye plunders," how "we indicate/ what we sound." He is a scout of the movements of meaning and lyrical enchantments"-- Roberto Bedoya.

"Todd Baron's poetry herein presents the consequence of an ear attuned with utmost care, not to replicate outer worlds or broadcast interior ones: instead to allow all the above (and the below) their presence as translative powers. Change is, literally, in the air in the room"--Steve Dickison.

Todd Baron received his MA under Louis Patler, Robert Duncan, Diane DiPrima, etc. Graduating in 1989, he has written and published 8 titles of poetry. He published ReMAP magazine for five years, a postgraduate poetics journal based on the teachings/readings of New College: a continuation of the program's ideas. He has taught at the Otis Art Institute and currently teaches language arts at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, CA.
